I jumped at the chance of going to Scotland, or better yet, the Highlands of Scotland with the talented Lizzy Gadd. A place that, at one point in my life, seemed so far off and distant.

Capturing the daily ritual of packing gear and food and following Lizzy on trail after trail and ridge after ridge to find the places that pleased her eye was something I’ll never forget.

The simplicity of Lizzy’s self portrait photography style, which consists of a tripod, a camera and herself as the model and photographer, made for a perfect recipe to incorporate Lizzy’s amazing imagery and the incredible landscape we traipsed through every day.
